The name Abaco is a tribute to a place that has inspired me for many years.

It also says something about how I work. Entrepreneurship and innovation are not ends in themselves. They are tools, and what they are for is opportunity — a company that can make payroll, a building somebody can afford to live in, a partnership that outlasts the people who signed it.

That is the work I want now: bringing people together, and helping good ideas turn into things that get built.
